CAST

MICHELLE RENEE JOHNSON (writer / performer / producer) Originally from Jonesborough, Tennessee, Michelle grew up performing onstage and assisting backstage at local community theatres. She moved to New York in 2018 and, after a decade-long hiatus which included a global pandemic, she reignited her passion for performance by taking a year-long program at the Barrow Group. Through this opportunity, she was introduced to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and inspired to create and perform in her own work. Extra Dry is her first solo show, and she is excited to share her stories with those outside of her inner circle. Apart from performing, she enjoys running marathons, binging reality TV, and eating carrot cake.
